If you were to read this headline 6 months ago, You would call me crazy. Any Patriot fan wouldn’t even click the article calling it bogus. Tom Brady decided to take his talents to Tampa Bay to play for the Buccaneers organization, capping off a 20 year run in New England. After this news, many fans thought we were doomed, and could never replace the seasoned quarterback. That changed when news broke in Late join that the Patriots were bringing in former MVP QB Cam Newton. Newton Hadn’t played a game in over a year and many were skeptical how his attitude and play style would fit into a strict system. With Bill Belicheck as head coach, many didn’t even think he would start week 1.
As Training camp begun in August, Newton began to turn heads within the organization and from the media. Reports were coming out daily after practices saying Newton looked sharp, but more importantly was poised and bringing the team together. Newton went on to win the Starting Quarterback job and geared up for Miami in week 1. That game happened yesterday Sunday September 14. The Patriots won the season opener 21-11 and the team looked promising. The defense didn’t miss a beat from last year as they forced 3 interceptions and allowed just 11 points. With Newton under center, The offense looked different for sure since Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniel’s could bust out fancy plays and formation with a new QB. With Newton standing at 6’5”, 245 pounds, he is just as elite on his feet as he is throwing the ball. He ended the game 15-19 completions, 155 passing yards, and a Quarterback rating of 109.3. On the ground, he totaled 75 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Not only did Newton thrive in the running game, his presence lead to 5 other Patriot players rushing for over 20 yards.
This should not shock anyone that Newton carried the ball this often and this effective since he is such a big and elusive runner. With one of the best offensive lines in football when healthy and a mastermind calling the plays, Newton and the Patriots are a match made in heaven. This is why New England is better off with Newton over Brady this season. When Brady was behind center, he could do amazing things throwing the football, but once the pressure came he would throw it away. Now when the pressure comes, Newton has the physical ability to take off and avoid the rush and potentially gain solid yard every play.
The biggest and most surprising reason why The Pats will be stronger with Cam this year is the attitude shift. Don’t get me wrong, Tom Brady is the best player to ever play the game, and also the fiercest competitor. However, after 20 years in the same organization, it was time for change on both sides. Tom and Bill began to feud under the radar beginning in 2015 when Bill wanted to keep Jimmy Garapalo instead of Brady. Brady of course didn’t like the fact he almost was replaced for a second year player. Owner Robert Kraft made the final decision to Keep Brady around. You could just tell in the final years, Brady and Belichick were not seeing eye to eye including things like play calling and money towards his contract. Reports even came out this past week that current Patriot players were tired of Brady’s negative demeanor and needed a new look. They got their wish with Newton and it sure seems to be clicking after week 1. Bill has never been so vocal while praising a player as he does Newton, and it’s only been just over a month since they’ve been working together. The way this team is built and the charisma Cam has brought in, The Patriots are looking to roll to Super Bowl victroy number 7.

First off, Its pretty crazy that this is the last blog post of the semester as it has been an unforgettable one for the wrong reasons. We made the best of it, but its bitter sweet to be writing my last. For chapter 14, Environmental health was the topic and was hard hitting. It was great to learn lots about all types of pollution, overpopulation, and radiation. However, as an earth and environmental advocate, a lot of the facts infuriated me, specifically when it stated our ecological footprint needs more than all of earths resources to sustain our lifestyle. Overpopulation is certainly contributing to that stat and all percentages of pollution. Overpopulation negatively affects the food worlds food supply, contamination of drinking water, and energy consumption. If this earth gets too populated, we will wear out the earth and have nothing. The books suggests a few ways to slow down the population growth that consists of ensuring birth control for men and women, educating people on this issue, and end policies that reward parents based on minimum number of children. The next thing I want to touch on in the chapter is Radon. For indoor pollution, I feel like we all know about carbon monoxide, but not radon. Radon is colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that is found in soil. Its often in homes due to seeping through cracks, mostly in the basement. I was not aware before, but every home should test at least every 2 years for radon. Lastly, land pollution is increasing at a scary rate. 91% of all plastic hasn’t been recycled. Please throw away all trash and recycle everything you are able to!!!
For My last health aspect update, things are better than the were last week. I have really bought into my home workouts and make it a priority to get it done before just chilling out. Without the normal weights a gym would have, I have changed my cycle to 3 days. Chest, Back, and shoulders and I mix in arms and abs with them( Yes i know I need to hit legs). I have began riding roller blades all over town and I could do it all day as I love skating and fresh air. I have my occasional pig out still but I am still trying to stick to a healthy diet and not munching late night especially. My Three goals at the beginning of the semester in my first blog were to bench 6 reps of 185, lose 5% body fat, and be happy with my body image. I do not have access to a bench press so cannot measure that one, the nutrition store where i calculate body fat is closed so I cannot measure that one. However, I can say I am happy with the way My body image is changing. I still have a long way to go but can appreciate small progress as should everyone! This class educated me lots in many different health aspects and have made me change things in my daily routine. I hope everyone stays safe and has a great summer!!!
here is me roller skating!

Chapter 13 was mainly focused on violence and intentional cases, however there are unintentional things that can hurt us that the book goes on about. The most relevant and common form of violence is sexual assault, especially on college campuses. By the book, Sexual assault is any sexual act with another person without consent. Rape is the most common form of sexual assault and is classified as penetration without consent. Sexual assault is so common at college because so many young adults are meeting each other at party environments while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. College is stereotyped as the time to experiment and ave sex so many people think its what everyone is looking for, however that is false. Consent is such a hard term to nail down since its not always talked about before sex. Even if two people at a party seem to be kicking it off and both agree to go back to ones room and have sex, it still may not be consent. Consent is technically someone agreeing to the acts without any substances in them. Over 23% of women have experienced sexual assault in their college days. 1 in every 5 women have been raped in their lifetime. Not just men, but women too need to have full and clear consent before even touching someone.
Next, I want to talk about distracted driving. It is so dangerous leaving your house these days wit how distracted people are while driving. I have personally seen people eating, doing makeup, and even reading a book while behind the wheel. I’m not going to lie, I have texted while driving. Its a horrible decision as looking down to send one text, the vehicle can travel hundreds of yards. I change my music or use my GPS while driving and even doing that is super dangerous. There should be laws or some technology that prevents phone use while the car is on. Hands free is better but the mind is still not focused on driving.
Lastly, Avoiding noise injuries is a big section for me as I am exposed to lots of loud noises. I worked two years of maintenance so I was responsible for checking many large machines that re loud, including industrial sized generators. Not to mention the fact I’m listening to loud music multiple hours a day either with my beats or large speakers in my house. With these factors, I am well on the way to loss of hearing.
I will try to limit exposure to loud noises as I did not take it serious since its just the lifestyle I live.

This chapter is quite fitting with the Global Pandemic we are living through wit the Covid-19 virus outbreak. I ave heard of lots of the things this chapter talks about, but was one where I read lots of things that were new to me such as the in depth details and affects of these infectious conditions. When we get sick, I thought almost everything was a form of bacteria or virus that got into our system. However there are five major types of pathogens that infect us, that include bacteria, viruses, fungus’s, protozoans, parasitic worms, and prions. Covid-19 is a virus and it is new so there is no vaccine or treatments. The best way to prevent this virus is to stay home and and to boost your immune system. The immune system detects an antigen once it breaches the initial defense layer, then produces antibodies that attack the antigen. Some ways to boost your immune system include reducing stress, eating healthy foods, include vitamins in diet, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep. There is a belief that vaccines cause autism, but health officials stand by that this is false. Vaccines train your immune system to recognize and target bacteria and viruses quicker and more effectively. Certain molecules of the antigen are found in the vaccines so the body is familiar with it. Some viruses and other infections are regarded as super bugs since they can mutate and are not affected by vaccines or treatments. Lastly, Sexually transmitted infections are such a common yet harmful form of infections as there are over 20 known types. Everyone is at risk for these if practicing any type of sexual contact. The best ways to limit your risk is to use protection, discuss any previous infections, or no physical sex at all.
As for my health aspect, well things are continuing to be hard with the lock down. No gym calls for more at home workouts where it is hard to stay motivated at times. There’s something about going to a real gym that keeps me motivated. At home, I will look around mid workout and see my roommate watching a good movie and I will be tempted to just be lazy. The rainy weather is certainly not helping as I cant even go outside to workout or go for a scooter ride as my bike is now broken. For the healthy eating aspect, well that is also hard because we are in a pandemic and sometimes its nice to pig out on some greasy food. Everyone telling me, we are in quarantine, eat whatever you want. I have been less hard on myself and eating treats more but I didn’t come this far just to come this far. The journey is just getting started. I miss playing basketball since my town took off the rims at the park so here is an old picture of me dunking on 9 feet.

Chapter 11 covered Cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes, which are all extremely important to be informed about although it may be sensitive to some who have had loved ones suffer from one of these conditions. We always hear how important our hearts and other muscles/organs are, but learning how in depth they are was crazy to see. Our life relies on biology and tiny processes we cannot see. CVD is the leading cause of death world wide, yet millions do not change what is in their control to help prevent it. The book stated some facts that caught my attention regarding CVD including more women die from it each year, African Americans are at higher risk, and also many die suddenly without previous symptoms. A loved one of mine passed away from a heart attack without any previous symptoms, so that is such a scary thing to me. Given they didn’t live the healthiest lifestyle, it can happen to anyone at any moment. Unhealthy lifestyle choices they chose included smoking, unhealthy eating, and no exercise. Those choices sounds like those of millions in the country so I urge everyone to relay and display healthy lifestyle choices. The reasoning why people do not practice a healthy lifestyle is usually “You only live once, so have fun”. My response to this would be that you cannot live, grow old to see your family evolve, and have fun if you do not have your health and life! Health is the most important thing, and we are finally seeing this with the Covid-19 outbreak. The second thing I want to talk about is strokes, as I also have a relative who has suffered 2, and he will never be the same. A short explanation of a stroke is not enough blood moving to the brain, so brain damage occurs. Strokes seem to be in my genetics so I need to focus on the ways to catch one before it is too late. There is acronym that makes it easy: FAST. Facial droop, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 9-1-1. IF you notice any of these happening, call 911 immediately so you can hopefully be treated before you your brain is beyond repair. The last thing in the chapter that I want to relay is the detection of cancers. The longer cancer is in your body without you knowing, the more it will mutate, and attack your body. Detection resources include x-rays, cat scans, ultra sounds, and touch tests. Males and females can carry out touch test. The male for testicular cancer, and a female for breast cancer. Skin Cancer can also be detected by just looking and noticing a mole or new mark on ones skin. If you ever stumble upon something where you are not sure if its fine or could be a hazard, always see the doctor to be safe. We cannot just stop cancers and CVD, but we can live a better lifestyle that lessens our chance of obtaining a disease.
My health aspect has seen better days, however I am excited for whats to come. Last weekend was my good friends birthday so we had some festivities at our house with the people we live with. Lots of food and alcohol was consumed so I didn’t feel great to begin the week. I have decided that I cannot eat sweets since I cannot stop when I have one. I also need to be more disciplined when it comes to lifting the weight I have at my apartment. I have gotten lazy this past week and there’s no way around that. I just need to get back into a routine then I think I will be back and motivated again. Its just hard since we have nothing to look forward to with everything being shutdown. I cannot even go shoot hoop or play football at the turf. I miss playing pickup basketball the most id say, so here is an old picture of me playing.

Chapter 10 went deeper into fitness and highlighted types, benefits, risks, testing, and more categories regarding fitness. Before I started to focus on my health, I thought of fitness as something that gets your heart rate up and burned fat. After this chapter previous research, Fitness is such a broad term that has so many aspects and benefits. The list of benefits goes on and on but the most important ones I took away from the chapter were improved immunity(super important in this time), reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases, reduced risk of some cancers, and a dark horse for the most important for me, improved mental health and stress management. If the whole world knew these benefits, then everyone would be exercising right? false! Fitness isn’t an easy thing for many people. People with pre-existing physical conditions may be instructed to not exercise, or physically cant. Even many ho are able to be active do not because of their mindset. I used to be one of them, as i only worked out if it was a sport involved. Working on your own health should be one of everyone’s top priorities. Getting motivated can be very hard though as Previously I had none. The book suggests ways to get attempted that include the feeling after a workout, long term body image, short and long term health, and mental health. Recommendations for people who have difficulty staying committed to fitness are to take a 30 min walk in your free time, invite friends to exercise with you, use active forms transportation, and remind yourself exercise gives you more energy. Lastly, preventing fitness related injuries stuck out to me since I have had my fair share of sports injuries. I have broken my thumb and ankle in football, while also getting concussions. I Sprained ankle in flag football, cut my head open a few times in basketball, and many other minor ones. Most of these were unpreventable, but the book suggests for the proper use of equipment, make sure not to overuse a muscle, and STRETCHING before and after working out.
Fitness options are certainly limited due to the Covid-19 outbreak, but I am still getting it in in a different way. I have been lifting my body weight with lots of reps of push-ups and pull ups. I have resistance bands so i can use that for shoulders, biceps, and triceps. I then have a 45 lb plate, 25 lb plate, and a 10 lb plate that I can use for various workouts including core. Recently I have been running around the block to get fresh air and the blood flowing. While my fitness has been good during quarantine, this week my eating has been pretty bad. I pigged out on Easter, and have been snacking a ton at night. I can notice that its negatively affecting me but bored eating is a real thing that over powers me at times. I just need to find something to occupy me at night to prevent this. The chapter talked about fitness in cold and hot weather so it reminded me of better times skiing with my friend’s, so here is a picture. Hope all is well with everyone!

Chapter 9 is a great follow up from last weeks chapter of nutrition as it digs into eating disorders and other factors that can be a result from the lack of proper nutrition/exercise. I knew obesity was a huge problem globally, but not to the point the stats read. It is an epidemic, and the United States makes up for 13% of the global population that is obese. There is not one state in the US with less than 20% of the people are obese. Secondly, the health effects of obesity are extreme and needs to be addressed more. Some major health risks include weaker immune system, mental health issues, high blood pressure, increased risk of asthma, increased risk of heart disease, and many more. The Government clearly knows this statistics however, not much is done by them to flatten the curve of obesity rates. They provide information about how to be healthy but do not provide aid. In my opinion, the best change they could make would to lower produce and quality meat prices. If money was not factor in an individuals diet, I believe obesity the rate would be significantly less. Money is health in a way which is not right. Its much cheaper to get 4 items off the value menu at Mcdanks rather than go to Market Basket and get a chicken breast, vegetables, and rice.
Improved eating habits is what i touched on last week how that helped my health goal, and I think its an important section. When you begin to invest in what goes into your body, it makes the biggest difference in the world how you feel and look. It becomes the norm to stay on a schedule or buying healthy foods. Healthy eating isn’t ditching ll the foods you love and eating salads for every meal, its bout balance, consistency, and portion size. My friend who used to weigh about 285 lbs in high school reduced his portion size for every meal, and lost 30 pounds in a few months while still eating everything he used to.
Body image is another section that stood out to me. The book states body image includes how you see yourself in your mind, what you believe about your appearance, how you move your body, and more. Body image is a factor in everyone’s mind, although it shouldn’t. It should be about how you feel. About 67% of women and 53% of men worry about the way they look. Being healthy is about health not looks! With the way the media/social media is today, Unfortunately I don’t see that % of people worrying about their appearance decreasing.
As for my health aspect, hings have been fair as we continue to be locked in. I am still eating well for the most part, however I don’t feel like I am burning as many calories a day. I still am doing at home workouts, but low key I am missing the walks to class as it was great exercise and a chance for fresh air. The recent sun has motivated me to go for a few SHORT runs around the block. Mentally i am just trying to stay busy and optimistic even though its pretty tough in a time like this.
I hope everyone well and healthy. This is the only recent picture i have of myself

I was excited to see this weeks chapter was solely on nutrition. Over the past year I have steadily learned about basic nutrition to see what would help with my goals. My goals were and still are to cut fat and build lean muscle. Before I realized that i wanted to make a change, I didn’t care about what, when, and where I ate. I LOVE food so before I was smarter with it, I would eat whatever tasted best and was satisfying at the time. an example of 3 meals I would eat in a day would consist breakfast: pancakes(loaded in syrup) with bacon and eggs with a chocolate milk. Lunch: pizza roles and nachos with a soda. Dinner: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a roll.I would get fast food quite often too, at least once a week. Also I snacked in between when I was board. So you get the point how much bad stuff I used to eat! I then thought if I eat that stuff, I just need to exercise often and I would lose weight and be healthy. I was dead-wrong about that and learned nutrition and your diet is the number one thing to making a change for your health and weight. I began to reduce the amount of processed carbs, fried foods, desserts, and fast food, while cutting out snacking. There’s no specific guidelines I follow besides trying to eat as clean as possible. Natural foods can only do mostly positive so I stuck with that and can honestly say I feel and look better. I will still eat out, have occasional desserts, and snack but limit it big time and not make it a regular thing. For me it is impossible to stop eating sweets/ fried foods forever at this stage in life so limiting is the option that i will stick with for now. For dinners I always a protein (chicken, turkey, red meat,or fish) with a veggie and rice on the side. Lunch is usually tuna or a protein shake. Breakfast is usually eggs or some toast with fruit along with a daily vitamin.
While reading the chapter, a few things caught my eye that I never knew. The fist thing was the importance of water. I drink lots of water so I happy to see how much it does for us. I drink it to avoid dehydration since I get headaches. However, I did not know drinking too much could be bad as it flushes your system, it flushes essential sodium and other essentials. The second thing that caught my eye was the importance of carbs. Before this chapter, I always heard and thought that carbs are what make you fat. I was wrong and learned they are essential, especially for energy. Refined carbs may be what I was thinking about, but carbs also help the functioning of internal organs, nervous system, and muscled. Looks like no carb summer has been called off. The last thing that was new to me was the super food section. I always thought they were just healthy foods that were all natural. I soon learned that super-foods are just foods that can positively affect your body when consumed. I had no clue salmon was one as it contains omega-3 and is great for your heart. This is big for me since I am a huge seafood guy.
My goal has been going swimmingly stuck in quarantine. There’s not much to do so I look forward to hitting my at home workout. My diet has been good for the most part, besides the occasional sweet my roommates have. Bored eating is so tough in a time like this, but these past few days I have been battling it. I will not be able to build as much muscle without a full gym, but lifting body weight will help cut fut and overall better shape. Fresh air is now a blessing to get, so I did my first run around the block today and hope to make it a daily thing. I haven’t been able to get a recent picture of myself in my house so here is another throwback of me playing football in high school. I hope everyone is safe and healthy!

This chapter is yet another one that pertains directly to us college students as it focuses on the abuse and affects of alcohol and tobacco. The first thing that popped out to me was the chemistry and potency of alcohol. I had no idea it was ethanol that is the chemical that makes you drunk, i just thought it was different amounts/types of “alcohol” in all types of beverage. Its cool to know now why hard alcohol is much stronger as it continues to ferment after the original stage and is known as distillation. It is smart to limit the amount of hard alcohol you consume as it will sneak up on you after you break it down.
The second thing that peaked my interest was an unpleasant one, Drunk driving. There is one drunk driving fatality every 53 minutes and every 3 auto crashes, 1 is involving a drunk driver. This is and will always be one of the biggest death and fatal injury causes, yet millions of “responsible” adults do it. Everyone thinks “Im fine, I just had a few drinks” but do not realize how it impairs driving skills. This excludes no one as we even see celebrities who have it all risk this, athletes, even law makers! Even with strict laws in place, there is no sign of this slowing down. Until you experience one or someone you love is involved, people do it without a second thought. Personally I have and would never as we have Uber and other companies that will drive you for just a little money. every 3 in 10 Americans will be involved in an alcohol related auto crash sometime in their lives. That one statistic shows whats wrong with society as million still take the risk.
Lastly, I wanted to focus on the hazards if Tobacco products as e nic sticks are becoming a huge issue among high school and college aged kids. Not going to lie, I have tried some vapes as they do taste great, however that is the worst part. The fruity and sugary flavors is what gets these kids addicted as they think they are smoking skittles, when in reality its a burnt coil with nicotine soaking them. Every person I know who sticks by vaping backs it up with “its so much better for you then real cigs. Its just water vapor!” Manipulation is the biggest advantage for these vape companies as they say to help quit cigarettes. Do the kids even like the physical affects of nicotine? Maybe, but young ones especially do it socially to fit in and look cool. No one truly knows whats in JUUL, and many say it does more damage than a normal cigarette.
Now for my health Aspect, it is a whole new ball game. My health aspect to cut fat while building lean muscle is still achievable, however it is much harder now. With gyms closing down everywhere, it is very hard to build muscle. However, I am doing my best with what I have at my home. I have resistance bands so anyone with those, you can do shoulder raises, curls, and seen attach them to a surface and pull them to work your back. I then have a single 45 plate that I pull for back, bench press it, and extend for shoulders. Lastly, I have been doing about 100 push-ups per day to keep my upper body in decent shape while working triceps and upper abdominal. This is helping cutting fat as you lift your body weight, however I will not be able to maintain the strength I had while going to the gym 5 times a week. On the nutrition aspect, well that is a different story. Being locked in your house all day gets very boring, and I tend to eat when I am bored. I still try to keep it to healthy snacks and meals, but at time my family and I say whatever and get some nice comfort food for a difficult time like this. Although it could be worse for me and many others, It truly does suck for this to happen at such an important time in our lives as we are growing. I was in such a routine and had all eyes on a great summer, and a global pandemic occurs. In reality, health and safety is the number one thing in life so Its okay if your health aspect changes a little. Stay safe Everyone!
Here is a picture of me in High school when I played baseball. It brings me back to happy times looking at old pictures as I recommend to everyone doing.

This chapter may have been the most interesting to me so far as it explored all types of drugs and the abuse of them, treatment/ recovery techniques, and addictions to things other than drugs. I know/ knew a lot of people who have struggled with addictions and it is quite a scary thing that can happen to anyone so I found it refreshing we are being educated about these drugs and the dangers of them. People who struggle with addiction would never grow up and say i wanted to be addicted or anything like that. That is why I believe its wrong when people severely judge those affected by it as it truly can happen to anyone. The first thing in the book I was shocked by, was the fact that buying addiction is a true addiction. I know some girls who joke about having it that love to buy clothes, bags, etc, but not on the level of true addiction. The ABC video regarding shopping addiction blew my mind as we saw one lady dumpster diving and being broke by age 32. That was confirmation that compulsive buying disorder was a real thing. However, it does make perfect makes sense. We get addicted to things that give us a happy feeling(releasing of dopamine), So if some people love that feeling of ordering that Chanel bag, they will continue to do it to feel good. I would love to be ordering designer products, but I am caught up about buying my next meal!
Secondly, I was drawn to the Opioid section. I have known people who were prescribed these pills after a surgery and it did not end well in any case I am familiar with. These pills block all pain receptors so the feeling on them likely is great at the time feeling invincible while being relaxed and drowsy. Doctors tend to prescribe more than is needed, so the patients continue to take them. Once they are gone, the patients will request more since they are so used to the high and begin to rely on it. This is always scary since once they are addicted, it is hard to stop. Most of the time once the doctor completely stops prescription them, those addicted turn to a cheaper alternative to get a similar high. The most common, and cheapest is heroin. Heroin is likely the most dangerous drug since it is injected and is usually never clean and is easily overdosed on.I have seen locally and nationally so many of these exact scenarios, so there must be a change. I’m not sure what it is, but maybe there is an alternative to strong opioids for those who have common surgeries. There is an epidemic in the US and doesn’t seem like much is being done.
Lastly, I was intrigued by the Marijuana section. I do use cannabis so I was familiar with most of what was said, but was surprised by a few things. First, I had no clue that it had many of the same carcinogens and toxins in the smoke as tobacco. I also had no idea it doubles a males chances of developing testicular cancer. In no way I am addicted to marijuana, but I have seen it get in the way of things in the past. A few years ago when I was more into it, I noticed that it made me a little anti-social at times, and not wanting to go out and do things unless it was involved in the plans. Luckily now I use it in a much different way and I am in control of it. I see no issue with smoking bud if its an occasional thing and it doesn’t affect how you would function without it. After a long stressful day, It can take the edge off and relax you mentally and physically. However, It does have one negative affect on my health aspect of eating clean. Sometimes its stronger than my will power, and I will pig out on some junk food and heavily regret it in the morning.
Other than that, My health aspect is moving along great as I am happy with my habits. I am now at the point where I get upset if I don’t fit the gym into my schedule 5 of the 7 days a week. My buddy that goes to Michigan State University is back home for spring break and hes a big gym guru, so its been nice working out with him adding that extra motivation. Lately, I have been stressed due to school work, job search, and other things, so my gym sessions are truly a time to get my mind and body right. I would have never thought It would be this way, but I couldn’t be happier. As I am a poor college student, I may have to think about the food I buy as healthy foods are very expensive. Would I rather have more money and eat junk, or the other way around? I have been going with health over money lately and wish It could stay this way.
Here is a picture of me and my friend Ryan at the gym today.
